Hi,
I've been looking through the manual here and can't seem to find out how to do this...
If i'm trimming a waveform, how do i get it to snap to the grid? I have the grid bar on and the waveform itself will snap to it when i move it, but not when i'm trimming it?
Any ideas? I'm sure this must be easy and i'm just overlooking something.
Thanks,
matt

Yes, editing in the Sequence Editor iss completely non-destructive and you can always drag the audio back. "Trim" is a Pro Tools term. In DP it is referred to as "Edge Editing."matts9383 wrote:after i delete the selection do i have the option of dragging it back out again later if i want? Maybe trimming isn't the name of what i want to do, but something else? i'm basically trying to drag the length of the file.
