I installed the Touch OSC to control Cuemix with iPad after which the sound output through main out disappeared completely. The problem occurs with both my Macbook and my Windows 7 PC. The playback softwares indicate outgoing signal but the Track 16 leds display nothing. The hardware input signals lights up the corresponding leds but still no sound comes out.
If I route the signals to analog 1-2 everything works fine through those outputs.
Anyone had similar issues with the main out?

I had the same exact problem today.
Same use case it seems : I tried to connect to my track 16 from my ipad using TouchOSC. When I validated into Cuemix the OSC pairing, all my output levels ( master, phones, analog1-2 ) went to max, and instead of getting my ears blowed out, and strange noise fading off from my speakers.
Since that, I get the same behaviour as you describe.
I've managed to connect back the ipad with touch OSC but no way to restore the main level.
I've rebooted, updated my firmware, checking the top button isn't pushed...
I'getting frightened my Track 16 is broken..
Any help or info on this would be warmly appreciated

DITTO - exactly the same problem... as soon as I activated the iPAD OSC - no sound whether it is connected to the computer or not from the Mains. I tried everything I could think- and now I am searching the internet for solutions. I am going to try to remove the iPAD OSC - but I am having trouble doing that as well in CUEMIX...

Had exactly the same problem two times.
First time I didn't make a connection with activating OSC, just thought my track 16 got broken, so I brought it to a local service company. They reflashed it and everyrhing was ok.
After that I activated OSC the second time and my mains went dead. But this time I managed to get it working myself, but don't know which of the things I did actually helped.
I made the hardware reset (pressing main and line-out buttons for 2 sec), reinstalled firmware and connected it to a second computer. I got it working in the end, but am afraid to try OSC again. Have anyone tryed reaching out to Motu?

The "F" is for Firewire. You have to do the hard reset with USB connected. Seems to be working again.
