When I try to record to DP 4.6 through my Digidesign 002R i get small clicks and gaps in the recorded sound.
What am I doing wrong?
OS X 10.4.3
I don't have any digital input connected, i'm just feeding a CD-player into an analog input.

You may have one of the many many defective 002R's. The symptoms don't sound exactly like it, but in the six months I've seen 3 units die from faulty onboard 1394 busses. If it's a digital sounding noise that your getting, this may be your best explanation other than faulty cables connecting the devices. If the 1394 is faulty, Digi will repair at no cost, you just have to get the unit to them.

I hope not because it is working without any problems in PT 7.0kpsnyder85 wrote:You may have one of the many many defective 002R's. and I get this with 2 different interface, one 002R and a 002.
I still get these tiny gaps in the recorded audio.
