…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

All you had to do is go to the Pettinhouse website; it's right there on the front page.
I try not to give links, because it may show bias towards certain sellers, and as this is a sponsored site, that could get sticky.

UVI Tines Anthology on sale for $99 max (pre-discount)
Through 13 June, UVI Tines Anthology is on sale for $99 max -- and less than that if you buy through a reseller where you have a loyalty discount.
I have two dozen libraries (at least) for this sort of stuff, and went through them all last weekend, finding that UVI Tines Rhodes mk II gave me the warmest and most articulate and dynamic sound for jazz.
I still like Neo-Soul Keys for soul, new-age, and often for rock/pop, but am very glad I bought the UVI collection when it came out.
Also, this collection may be the only one to cover all of the Rhodes models through the recent revival of the company.

Eventime Precision Time Align for $29 (or less) -- all month
I wasn't aware of this particular Eventide plug-in, but it seems a no-brainer at the price (especially if discounted further for loyalty at A-D and their other e-shops).
"Precision Time Align is a high precision sub-sample delay that can slide a track forward or backwards in time. It will help you get perfectly synchronized double-tracked recordings completely eliminating timing anomalies and phase issues from your mix, especially on multi-miked drums, vocals and instruments."
I daren't include any more text than that, as it's probably against the rules.
Given how few plug-ins are available in this category, I can't imagine being disappointed at $29, as it surely will find at least one or two unique applications where it is a finer precision tool than anything most of us have currently, or perhaps more direct for the job at hand.
Yes, of course we have MOTU Precision Delay, but that is an MAS plug-in, and also fairly advanced. Whereas this one from Eventide is more streamlined and also could be used in external mastering applications (or in audio restoration suites if time alignment is part of the required cleanup).

Re: Eventime Precision Time Align for $29 (or less) -- all m
It turns out that this has been available in their Anthology bundles for a few years. It's the first time that they have broken it out, however, due to customer requests. This is v.2, the 64bit update released last October.mhschmieder wrote:I wasn't aware of this particular Eventide plug-in, but it seems a no-brainer at the price (especially if discounted further for loyalty at A-D and their other e-shops).

I tried the demo on an old track and am wowed by how little time it took and how good the results are. I had gotten it very close using the tools in DP.
Precision Time Align has finally showed up at Sweetwater ($29) and AudioDeluxe ($26.79). I have not checked other resellers.
I hadn't considered that I can also use it in other programs as a plugin such as DSP-Q, TwistedWave, Ozone etc. Good catch.Yes, of course we have MOTU Precision Delay, but that is an MAS plug-in, and also fairly advanced. Methinks you worry too much about these things. That's the one thing that drives me nuts about some of your posts - you give great info but then the rest of us have to play Sherlock Holmes to find out what you're talking about. Shouldn't have to do that. And not all of us have the time to do so.mhschmieder wrote:All you had to do is go to the Pettinhouse website; it's right there on the front page.

Methinks, as the owner of the site, that I appreciate his concern. If you don't like his posts that's too bad. This is a free site and just users trying to help. I don't under the circumstances the demanding attitude nor the scolding is called for. It's not onerous to try Googling and if you have trouble, then ask. Or just ask, but spare the lecture.musicman691 wrote:Methinks you worry too much about these things. In addition to working with external mastering applications, this plugin is great to have if you have a need to work with multiple DAW's. For $29 it's a steal.mhschmieder wrote: Given how few plug-ins are available in this category, I can't imagine being disappointed at $29, as it surely will find at least one or two unique applications where it is a finer precision tool than anything most of us have currently, or perhaps more direct for the job at hand.

Re: Eventide Precision Time Align
Great to hear all the feedback on this plug-in, and Mike, I had a feeling it might have been part of the bundle before and only just now broken out for individual sale. What a great price for such a powerful tool!
I think, but am not positive, that this is a month-long sale, but I'm noticing a lot lately that the end dates of sales are not as commonly posted as they used to be. So I'd suggest people act fast.
I appreciate that Mike listed Sweetwater as a source, as I hadn't had a chance to check yet as I TOO AM BUSY (in reference to a post further above
), but as they are a site sponsor for this forum, I try to make sure I don't automatically swing people to another site to buy something that Sweetwater sells until I have a chance to check them out first.
I thought I remembered Sweetwater being a dealer for Eventide, and in fact I think I've bought some of my Eventide plugs from them. I've always had great experience with them regarding responsiveness and timeliness of dealing with license codes for just-purchased software. That means a lot to me, as I often have a short deadline or timeframe involved.

Re: Pettinhouse complete bundle for $99 until 12 June
As a reminder, this is the final day of the all-for-one $99 bundle sale of the Pettinhouse products, and it's also Andrea's birthday.
I was amazed at how quickly the stuff downloaded, given the huge volume of sales generated by this special deal. I feel I got more than my money's worth, even though I had already upgraded DirectBass and one other (I forget which one) late last year.
