MOTU support

Post by Phil O »

I broke down and called MOTU tech support yesterday for a problem that was driving me nuts with a Fastlane interface. It's the first time I've called them in quite a few years. In the past I've been critical of MOTU tech support but my experience yesterday was a pleasant surprise. I spoke to Andrew who was professional, knowledgeable and solved my problem in minutes. He even e-mailed me later just to check in. I went from total frustration to a productive all day recording session with just one phone call. Thank you Andrew and kudos to MOTU for a greatly improved tech support.

I've also noticed that MOTU has been responding quickly and thoroughly to my bug reports as well.

In the past (v4->6) it was a total crapshoot if you got a response to a legitimate technical support request, let alone a bug report. Now they're keeping up with everything.

It is certainly fantastic.

I agree. Nick has been all over our Eucon problem, and I reported 4 issues to Andrew yesterday who was very thorough. Loving it.

I'll second that kudos to MOTU support. I had a crash and just clicked on the "Send to MOTU' link, not expecting to hear anything for six months, if at all. Yesterday, I received an email suggesting I download the latest build of 9.02 which resolves the bug I experienced. Nice work folks!
