Is there a way to make it so the first staff/system is not indented? I've looked at Score Options... and Part Options... and edit margins, but haven't found anything that makes that go away.
Any tricks?

I don't think that you can. First page indentation is the basic default for score and part layout. True, I can change it in any of the four notation programs I own but Quick Scribe isn't really a notation program; it's an extension of DP.
In DP 9, you can export QS to MusicXML and open it in Finale or Sibelius where it's easy to change the layout—or the freeware MuseScore where it's less intuitive but still fairly easy. With DP 8, you are limited to MIDI export which defeats the purpose of having Quick Scribe, I suppose.

Thanks, Mike. I'll export to Finale and finish it there. I just didn't really need anything else for this particular little thing.
