Hey all.
Question.... I am wanting to come out of my Motu MK3 2408 "spdif" into a outboard converter then into my outboard master compressor, out of the compressor back into the converter then into the Motu Mk3 2048 optical to record the final master.....is this possible? want to know before I purchase the converter... this seems to be the only way out to my outboard gear... I am open to other suggestions!

Is there a reason you wouldn't just go from a pair of analog outputs on the 2408 to your outboard processor, and from your outboard processor to a pair of analog inputs on the 2408?
