Error -14 importing .wave

I'm getting an error (-14) while attempting to import wave files. The wave files are from a tascam dp-02cf. Help appreciated

Try opening in QuickTime or another app and reexporting. QT Amateur will do a bulk export easily.

I'll try that. They import fine into Mixbus - I'll just export from Mixbus and try that.

Doing so does not affect the audio but it rewrites the header. There are certain studios I work with where I am going to have to fix 10% or more of any files they send me.

They don't know what happens and neither do I. Don't care. QuickTime 7.7.6 works beautifully for this, is fast and free.
