Tracks & Sequence windows not showing soundbite waveforms

Post by darrell »

Hi all,

Loaded up DP 9 and have been fooling around with it. I recorded some live audio into a project of mine. The audiofiles I recorded play back fine, but the waveforms do not show in either tracks or sequences window. I checked the zoom controls in both windows (vertical and horizontal), and the note grid zoom and track settings menu in the sequence editor. There are only pale blue lines in the tracks, which I think are the 'adjust soundbites' timing indicators. I don't have the breakout tracks opened in the sequence window....help?

One other thing, in the sequences editor after I view the tracks through spectrogram, I can't get them back to 'waves only.'

I had this happen when trying to display rectified waveforms.

What do the soundbites look like? Do you see a think black line where the wave forms should be? If so, you should trash the Analysis Files folder associated with the project folder. That will force DP to redraw the waveforms of the soundbites.

I'll try the trash and look at the rectify idea, and report back!
