DAW Remote HD for iPad and DP 7.24

Could someone who's figured out the configuration in Control Surface Setup... post a screenshot? I've been able to trigger a MIDI note from iPad but can't get them "talking." Pretty sure I've followed all the steps and do have my iPad showing in Audio-MIDI Setup.
But maybe I don't have the right Device as per their instructions? Very detailed instructions for Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase, etc. but the DP pdf is a tome on the Mackie Control without specific instructions. Thanks.

Eureka! Got it working!

If you've bought this amazing $15 app, be sure you've added a new Device in Audio MIDI Setup. Make it Manufacturer: Mackie, Model Mackie Control.

Settings in DP/Setup/Control Surface:
Driver: Mackie Control
Unit: Mackie Control
Input Port: Network 1
Output Port: Network

You have to first create a Session in Audio MIDI Setup in the Network. Follow DAW Remote HD instructions--it's pretty simple.

Anyone having success with this iPad app and DP 9? I've given up on DP Control. With iOS 8.4, OS X 10.10.4 and DP 9, it's even worse than it was. V-Control seems a bit flaky. DAW Remote HD looks good. They actually have a MOTU template download. Their downloadable manual is the Mackie Control manual for DP from MOTU. So at least some DP support, but ... does it work?

sigh. is there anything good for the iPad that's solid and works well with DP?

Thanks. I had the impression that they were not updating things. The Logic skin is still from Version 9, despite the big improvements in Logic X.

For DP it seems to be the best choice currently, absent MOTU updating DP Control (which seems to be looking more and more unlikely).

V-Control Pro was updated last September and works fine with DP8. I have not tried it yet with DP9.

As for Logic, the reason it may not have been updated is because Logic X has a corresponding iPhone/iPad remote controller app that is very well integrated.

Maybe, but the iPad app is not particularly stable -- e.g. the meters might or might not work. I'd expect a few of the millions of Logic users to be willing to pay for an updated version.

Tried V-Control Free which I had working with V8. With V9, I get a squealing sound when moving the faders, but otherwise no response at all from DP, and no apparent connection between DP and V-Control. Removing the OSC setup from the DP Setup page gets rid of the squealing, but it still doesn't work.

Any luck with V-Control Pro?
