Freezing audio in VEPPRO 5 and DP8

Post by brolly »

Hi all, having just watched James video on using MAS VEP5PRO with DP8 {James your a lifesaver} i'm hoping someone can help me with a plan forward. I work in MIDI then freeze the audio and send the audio only dp sequence online to my engineer. So..I have a VEP5 loaded with 4 instances of Kontakt. Alto flute, Bass flute, Bass clarinet and Contrabassoon. I will eventually roll this out to all my woods and brass then port it all across to a mac mini. My question is how do i freeze the audio as 4 separate stereo files.
If i freeze then i get one audio file which is all 4 instruments together. I have tried routing the outputs in VEP5 to 4 auxiliaries in DP then recording in real time but of course you need the monitor button on whilst writing to hear the MIDI. I could have one instance of VEP5 per instrument but i'm trying to not do that.

Hopefully this link will work.

TIA as ever.
