Remember that DP8 introduced online authorization with a downloadable demo.

It seems likely that when DP9 is released, those of us who want to have it on Day 1 will be able to.

I definitely will grab it and hit the ground running. (I'm also in the grace period too)

It also introduced phoning home with tech reports but doesn't do that any longer. Just sayin'...

I suppose an email blast will go out announcing DP9 official release.
They don't normally which I find strange.

You will hear it shouted to the rafters here, of course.

Usually more of an email afterthought. Probably too busy filling orders to send out email.

Thank you, LS.

Same here, Mike. I keep ringin' the wholesaler but can't get in line 'till the product is a physical reality with attendant product code.

Because we don't have any other than the rumors and speculation you find around here.

Hmmm. Looks interesting. I use UAD's 1176 emulation all the time. It's one of my go to compressors. I wonder how the MOTU plug-in will compare. Will there be others? [insert
Batman cliff hanger music here].

Nothing that wasn't shown at NAMM 2015. I'm not on Facebook anymore so can't check the date of posting or anything else that was said about this.

"Very soon". That's what MOTU just answered some comment asking for a release date on their FB page. But can someone explain what "very" means in terms of days to count ? :)

Does anyone have any idea if the spectrum display will allow for frequency domain editing? I.e., Will we be able to make time/frequency lasso selections and do things like compress or shift or gain change them?

The demo video seems to hint that the answer is yes but I can't be sure.

We'll just have to wait … and waitand wait!
