Hi
supersonic: I have the same frustration. I really wish the Artist controllers would show just the tracks visible in the Mixer window... the Avid/Euphonix controllers are for mixing right? I know I can quite laboriously assign tracks and have various layouts … but I find I use the Mixing Window of DP quite dynamically and would love to have the MCs just reflect what I'm actually looking at to mix.
Also... the jog transport wheel doesn't work whilst in the Mixing window... yet that's where you really need it. As it stands you have to go back to a time-line window eg. SE or TO in order to navigate with the jog wheel
I wonder if MOTU could consider implementing these functions which would IMO make the Euphonix controllers much more useable for mixing
Thanks and best to all

right - to me, i just think of it as the control surface defaulting to the DP "tracks" window.supersonic wrote:The mixer tracks don't get updated on the euphonix. MC Control will always show all my tracks regardless of what is visible in the DP mixer.

EuCon Artist MC and mixer layout
Hi
Just a very belated observation that although EuCon Artist controllers (MC Control and MC Mix) don't reflect the Mixing Board layout... as would be ideal for me... there is a workaround which avoids re-arranging the Tracks Overview window.
Simply drag the tracks you want to mix with in the Mixing Window to the left of the Mix window *whilst having Lock Layout to Track Order unchecked in the Mix Window pop up menu*
This way, the TO and SE windows remain in the order needed for editing and in the order you probably created them whilst still enabling a clean layout for mixing with the Artist units
I may be the last to realise this ) :
hope this helps
Still hoping for jog scrolling in the Mixing Window
