Just wondering if anybody here is using the Qcon Icon controller with DP?

No me, but it sure looks nice. If you want me to test one for you, PM me and I'll send you my shipping address... :) Seriously, sleek piece of hardware. The company specs mention a few other DAWs but not DP. Mackie control build in and DP does support that...

Is it as big as it looks in the pictures? Looks way over-sized. Maybe those are just close-ups.

Sorry, the pictures did seem to embed pretty big. Here's a you tube video about it, it seems pretty cool a modern version of the mackie. Seems better put together than the avid artist that I couldn't warm too and got rid off.

Right. But it seems to be using Mackie protocol and it does look rather large. I'm not sure what the advantage of that unit is. Also, no Digital Performer mode, but a custom mode that needs customizing. When I checked out some YouTube videos on it, I saw some complaints about the quality. I also happened across videos for the Behringer X-Touch which seems much more compact:
