FCB1010 for transport control (Play/Stop)..not working

Hi All,
I am trying to get the FCB1010 to assign one of the switches to be the Play/Stop command for DP.

This is what I do:
1) I go to commands
2) bring up the Play/Stop
3) click on the MIDI assignment
4) push the desired switch on the FCB1010 which DP recognizes and records
5) close the commands window

The problem is nothing happens in DP after assignment no matter how many times I try.

I'm putting together a live show and just need to control the transport with the footswitch. I was thinking of using Ableton Live but it would be too cumbersome with they style I do and all the tempo variations, etc.

Check the status of the "Masters" in the Commands window. Sometimes those get switched off. I can't recall what combination of things needs to be on, but that usually is the culprit.

That did the trick. I had to check Master masters.
