Hello, I'm new to DP and very enthusiast about it!
I have used many other DAWs and there's something I really cannot find in DP8, it is the possibility to have the cursor snap to measures. It is very useful when you want to start recording precisely at the beginning of the measure.
Any help will be very appreciated.

Re: Cursor snap to measures
I'm assuming you are talking about the playback wiper and not the cursor. (Though you can do this with either.)
There are some short-cut commands for this. You can tap a key to make it go forward or backward by whole measures. You can also tap a key (I think the default is the decimal on the numeric pad)-- which highlights the measure and you can just type in the measure number and hit enter and it will go there.
There's a few other ways to get this done. Look at the commands window under Transport (or Navigation?) and see what all is there.

I changed my Fast Wind buttons, 4 and + to 'Go To Previous Measure', and 'Go To Next Measure'. It works better for me that way: no rapid fire MIDI, faster wind, and snap to bar.

Ditto Tim
The only problem is that DP seems to be so fast that you have to hit the key command blazingly fast to go backwards.
