I installed Digital Performer 8 demo in Windows 8. I've installed Kontakt 5 and Vienna Instrument, they work fine when opened as standalone. But I cannot find them in the "Add Instrument" option in Digital Performer. (I tried going to preferences and settings - audio plug-ins, additional VST Plug-ins Folders, but I don't understand what kind of folder I should look for... )
I used to work in MAC all this time and Digital Performer would find the instrument plug-ins right away. Am I missing something important?
Do I need to do additional things to make DP 8 in Windows finds the instrument?

The two most common locations depending on if you are running 64 or 32 bit are:
C:\Program Files\Vstplugins
C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins
I believe that both Vienna and NI installers default to those.
