Anyone else having this problem? I often have different conductor track takes with varying meter changes and tempos to experiment with in the same chunk. Now, for some reason, when I duplicate a conductor track take, or create a new one, or make changes within any take, the changes are made across ALL the takes. Now, I have to duplicate the chunk to get a new conductor track.
Has a setting changed that I am not aware of? Thanks......

Re: DP 8.6 Conductor Track takes
Nobody? Well, I am going to Westlake Pro tomorrow and I'll ask the MOTU rep there. I'll post his answer in case anyone has discovered the same bug. BTW, this is the only version of DP8 with which I have had this problem.

Re: DP 8.6 Conductor Track takes
I am curious to hear about it. I occassionally use track takes (especially when doing tap tempo things). But haven't done anything with conductor takes in DP8 yet.
Let us know what you hear.

It's always been that way, I believe. You are correct that Conductor Track Takes cannot store separate meter maps. Separate CT takes CAN have different tempo maps, however.CCarpenter wrote:Has a setting changed that I am not aware of? Thanks......

Re: DP 8.6 Conductor Track takes
Had a simliar experience recently in 7.24.
Duplicated the Conductor track so I could edit my markers while leaving the originals unaltered. Any change I made to the new duplicate was ALSO reflected in the original.

Re: DP 8.6 Conductor Track takes
Thanks, b.g. You are correct. For some reason I thought you could always change meter and markers in conductor takes, but page 613 of the DP8 manual, and page 594 of the DP6 manual (can't find my manuals for other versions) state that clearly. Key changes are also excluded. My mistake. I could have sworn I could do that, but apparently not. Of course I can always duplicate chunks if I really need this function, so know big deal. Question answered, thanks all.
