Crash on quit with Scuffham plug

Post by waterstrum »

I'm experiencing a crash on quit with sessions that use the Scuffham S-Gear plug.
I'm running the latest versions of DP, OSX and Scuffham on a 5,1 Mac Pro.

No big deal... the amps work fine.

Just wondering if anybody else has noticed this.
All is well

This "bug" has been around for quite awhile. Yes, everyone who is using Scuffham Amps in
DP is experiencing it.

In DP 8.06's release notes, MOTU specifically stated that they had improved implementation
of Scuffham Amps plugs, but obviously that didn't fix the crash-on-quit problem.

You're correct - it is no big deal. It doesn't corrupt your project or the Scuffham Amps plug-ins. It's just annoying. I don't even bother to send the crash report to MOTU anymore.

I can verify this as a long standing issue that is only a minor annoyance. Scuffham has known about it for at least a yr or so.
