API Vision plugin not showing Presets
When I access the UAD API Vision Strip plug in in DP 8.06 it only shows about 31 presets. The problem is there are actually 70 Presets. Not sure why the rest do not show. They show up fine in UAD Console, but DP doesn't. DP is running fine and other plug ins are fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Never checked this - but I can assure you, those presets mean next to nothing. It's best to
just move the controls and see what happens.
Here's why - you don't know what the source material was for each preset, even if it is
labeled as a drum or bass or keyboard or vocal preset. Which drumkit, what bass, what keyboard, what vocalist? Forget about it - learn by doing is my advice.

Re: API Vision plugin not showing Presets
I agree with what you suggest. And usually I don't mess around with Presets, but with the UAD API Vision strip I was finding it kind of useful.
The strange thing is that it has about 5 Engineer/Artist folders with each having multiple presets. But in the drop down presets - it shows only a few presets from each individual folder. So it seemed that maybe this is a limitation in DP? I contacted UAD and it appears from their response, that it may be DP specific.

Re: API Vision plugin not showing Presets
Just a thought. Are you trying to access the presets from DP's effect window preset drop down menu or does Vision Strip have its own preset drop down in its plugin gui?
I know with some PSP plugins for example, it has its own preset drop down which will reveal presets not shown in DP's effect window preset drop down.

Re: API Vision plugin not showing Presets
Yes, thanks I can access them from the bottom of the GUI by selecting 'Load Preset'. It was hidden by the Dock, as the plugin fills the screen height.
I also noticed all of my UAD plugins only show 31 presets in the drop down.
OK. UAD confirmed that this is how many it will always show. Kind of a best of Presets.
And one other thing in DP, which applies to all Plugins. When I click 'Reveal Presets in Finder' it does not open up the Finder. Shouldn't this open the Finder?
