Cubase le 5 and 2408 MkIII
Will Cubase LE5 see my 2408 Mark III interfaces and work with them.
Re: Cubase le 5 and 2408 MkIII
Try it and see, I would think it would the MOTU stuff is made to work with almost everything.
If you know where your configure hardware driver is in windows it should be there and all you should have to do is click on it and then find the outputs in Cubase and you should be on your way. Keep trying stuff till it works. Oh and you know Read The Manual, that always helps.
Good Luck

Re: Cubase le 5 and 2408 MkIII
Why wouldn't it? Making sure it works with your particular version of Windows is probably more important. Earlier versions of Cubase worked with my 2408-2, and Cubase 7 works with my 828-3, but that's because the drivers work with the OS.
Doing a general search at the Cubase forum for "2408" might help.

Re: Cubase le 5 and 2408 MkIII
Thank you for your answers ... I will try it. I hope to be able to use the optical 24 channel inputs in each of my 2408 Mark IIIs ... does that sound possible in Cubase LE5 also.
Re: Cubase le 5 and 2408 MkIII
If the drivers for the 2048-3 are working, any of the inputs or outputs will work as well as any others. Cubase itself has no awareness of the type or format of the inputs, it just sees what the driver presents. I think it's called the Device Setup window in Cubase -- that's where you link up Cubase to the 2048 and tell it what channels to use.
