iTunes 11.1.5 fixed many audio glitch and dropout problems that have been bothering me since some version of 10. Every once in awhile, I'll get a hiccup but now it's less than one every three or four hours - used to be every song.
Even though I am now used to the 11 interface, it sucks.

wow, Apple sure is pushing devices, not to mention pushing the newest OS and app's, and they seem to be going backwards instead of forwards in useability.
Guess I'll update iTunes to v10.6.3 and see how that goes.

Re: Snow Leo nagging for Mavericks upgrade
I have been using Mavericks for months now and am reasonably happy with it. It is much better than 10.7 and 10.8. However, after the glitz of the new features wore off a bit I must admit that I would still prefer having 10.6.8 in my studio.
Setting up a special machine that does not handle external files and does not download software from the internet is still safer than the latest Mavericks update that has been vetted for the latest and greatest virus thread. Snow Leopard is still the best of the bunch in my book.
