Today, I started up DP 8 on my laptop, and it asked me to do the authorization with the key code. I have had DP 8 authorized on this computer, and on my desktop, since it first came out.
Is there some sort of periodic check on the authorization that started in 8.06? Maybe it was a bad connection to the servers?

Re: Re-authorizing DP 8?
I have it installed on two comps and haven't had this sort of issue. Also, I read somewhere that once it is authorized, it doesn't have to go back online (although I've not tested that to see if it is accurate); but grasping at straws here, did you recently update it on your computers? Maybe the license file got corrupted during the update install?

Re: Re-authorizing DP 8?
I went to 8.06 a couple of weeks back, but have started DP a hundred times since then. I know there were some odd incidents a week or two ago when you couldn't access anything in the splash screen because the MOTU servers weren't available, or something like that. Maybe there was a change in the way authorization is scanned at the 8.06 update.
