So on page 804 of the DP8 manual, it states that what is included in an automation snapshot is determined by the automation setup window, including global and track specific data enable / disable settings. However, whenever I turn specific data types on or off for a particular track, and proceed to take a snapshot using the enabled data types option, DP still puts in the data points for all the data types included in the global setup.
Is this the way it's supposed to occur? It's not a huge deal, but it just results in extra data points being written, when I don't necessarily need them.
Shouldn't the individual track enable / disable settings in the setup window determine what gets included in a snapshot, regardless of what the global settings are?
Just wondering.
thanks,
Carlos
