First time here. If anyone can walk me through a quick fix I'd be most grateful.
In the middle of working on a VERY large mix, and for not reasons I can not track, my DP6 program (w/ fully up to date drivers) suddenly will not store the settings of ANY plug-ins (UA Satellite OR motu stock). Upon reopening the file, all pre-sets are "active" but re-set to their defaults rather than my previous setting. I've got quite a bit of work to deliver, so this is terrible timing.
I will be eternally grateful to anyone out there who knows a fix! THANK YOU MOTU NATION!

Re: help-big deadline, odd problem!
I'm not sure what's happening but a call to MOTU tech support is in order. Killing the preference files for DP and the plugs (if any exist) might help as a corrupted plist can so that. I should add that DP6 was THE WORST release if the app ever. Not my opinion but ever according to a few MOTU sources. I would strongly suggest updating to DP 7 (not 8 quite yet) or dropping back to the last DP 5 update. Not usually a good idea mid project, but anything is better than DP6. Even GarageBand!

It could be a memory leak. Do things freeze first?
An old trick that does no harm and may help is to open DP, save your preferences and settings. Close DP and reboot your Mac in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key. After it finishes booting, shut down and reboot normally.
I'm not recommending upgrading in the middle of a project but do agree that you need to do it before the next big thing. DP 7 or DP 8 (and if DP 8, 32bit or 64?)? Depends on many things including your OS and installed plugins.
