Cannot authorize IK CSR in 32 Lives under Mavericks

Post by James Steele »

I've now burned 4 out of the 5 authorizations IK gives me for Classik Studio Reverb and I cannot get it to authorize in DP 8.05 running in 32 Lives in Mavericks. I've downloaded and ran IK's new Authorization Manager app and it says it's authorized and I still get the demo warning dialog when I open the instance of CSR in a project. Arghh... :(

But wasn't CSR updated to 64 bits last year? Why run it in 32 lives?

Actually I got a response from IK. You have to run the new 64bit TrackS Custom Shop or whatever and then use "Restore My Gear" and it will let you use those modules in it. I still have a problem though with my original TrackS 1 modules. Only the EQ is available to me and not the rest if the suite. I can't authorize with 32 Lives and Mavericks. I think I *might* be able to authorize with jBridgeM and Mavericks. Haven't tried. My CSR issue is resolved, but now I have to get TrackS 1 working. Although not as big a deal now that I use Slate FG-X so much these days.

I'm pretty sure my T-Racks modules were all updated to 64 bit (for free) at the same time the CRS 64 bit update happened, and that they run without the T-Racks shell in DP 8. I'll check next time I'm on the system.

CSR does run in DP8 without the shell. I can confirm this.

Yes, it always did. But do the other T-Racks modules also run standalone?

Well right... it's a "single" or whatever they call it. It will be called "T-RackS CS CSR Plate.component" in the Components folder.
