Hello!
A buddy and I are sharing a project using Mach5 v.3. Our software (DP and Mach5) is identical; however, when I open the project on my end, none of the Mach5 files will automatically load. I get the error message of "Couldn't load the file '$Universal Loops & Instruments.ufs/Samples/01 Piano and co/Acoustic Pianos/Acoustic Grand Piano Rls/German Rls A#-1.aif.'"
The error messages continue down the window...there are hundreds of them. I'm assuming every sample is an error message.
Does this have something to do with file paths on my end vs. his end? I'd like the project to auto load the samples/files without my having to reload each channel.
Thanks!
Aaron

Re: Mach5 Sharing: Paths
I'd guess the path is not relative but specific to the drive names and certainly the locations. If the root drive name and folders are identical it should be easy to load the instruments. I've never tried that so I'm guessing. It might even want to see the machine name at the too of the hierarchy. Maybe not.
