I did a song the other day that had tempo changes. I set tempo slider to conductor track and drew in tempo changes. When it got to the 3rd tempo change DP would crash. I discovered it was the metronome. I turned off the click and no crash. I really need the click, especially during tempo changes. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks...

The metronome does access click audio files that are in the library folder somewhere.
I'd suggest that you repair permissions. But if that doesn't work, you might just want to create a MIDI track to click you through where you need to go.

I've repaired permissions, but unfortunately DP still crashes when it gets to the 3rd tempo change in my song with the metronome on.
Good idea about writing in a MIDI click track, but didn't wanna have to...

If you double-click on the metronome (to open metronome settings), --will it crash then?
You might try some different click sounds there.
Also, look at your conductor track events and see if there is any odd settings for the click (that might be causing DP to freak out). If there is specific point where it crashes, perhaps you could delete that event and insert a fresh one? Just guessing.

Does this happen only in this particular project? Have you tried a new one?
Try making another conductor track take from scratch.
Otherwise, it would be time to load this project into a new one (with and/or without the CT).
