Kontakt, output re-assignment on project load

Hi all,
Apologies if I'm missing something obvious here, but the manual has been no help to me on this one.

I use Kontakt a bunch, and I'd like to be able to use a few instances of Kontakt to group together choirs of instruments (one instance for all woodwinds, for example), then run the outputs for each instrument to an Aux Track in DP via the multiple stereo outs of Kontakt. However, when I try to configure DP to accept output from anything other than Kontakt's first two main outs, I run into an annoying issue: every time I close and reload the project, DP has forgotten the assignment on the aux tracks. It just assigns those aux tracks to the first available stereo bundle and I have to wire them up again. The plugin is still loading, and the bundles are there in the bundle window, but I guess it takes it too long to load, so DP assumes it's missing and re-assigns them?

I have tried a couple of other multi-timbral VST's, and they behave as I would like (retaining their routing). It appears this may be unique to Kontakt, which means it's not DP's fault. But I wonder if any of you fine folks have encountered this issue and can offer a solution via a preference in either of the two programs, or could suggest an alternate way of routing things that would achieve a similar result - independent processing of each instrument.

Otherwise I'm going to have to have an instance of Kontakt for each instrument or do my mixing & FX in Kontakt, neither of which sounds like very much fun.
