When I loaded up DP 8 for the first time, it didn't load some of the AU's that I have in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. What can I do to troubleshoot this issue? I've seen some suggestions to remove the Audio Unit Info Cache at ~/Library/Preferences/Digital Performer/, but that directory doesn't seem to be in use by DP8. I tried anyways and the AU's were not rescanned.
I also have DP 7 installed on this machine. This is on an iMac running Mac OS X 10.7.5
Thanks,
Bryan

Boot in 32-bit mode--- check/uncheck
Plugins compatible with 32-bit or 64-bit will register differently depending upon the boot-up setting. DP will create independent plugin registers. That means that you will have to boot DP twice-- once in 32-bit and once in 64-bit-- in order to fully cache your plugins.
Not all plugins are 64-bit compatible. That being the case, if you boot DP8 in 64-bit mode, none of your 32-bit-only plugins will appear.

Mr. Frodo, what address should I mail the check to?
Thank you! This completely solved the "problem". I expect I'll be having a lot of other questions as I get acclimated to DP 8.

My friend: you bow to no one.
Live long and prosper. (Oh wait--- wrong movie)
May the force be with you. (Dang... wrong again)
Here's Johnny! (Okay-- I give up.)

Under Digital Performer Preferences the second option is Audio Plugins. In the menu is the list of your plugins. Make sure the plugin box is selected.
Highlight whatever plugin is not showing up and select reexamine. Follow the prompts and restart audio engine. It may warn you DP could crash. Ignore warning.
