Just got the KeyLab61. It comes with plenty of synth sounds in it's own software called Analog Lab.
I think it's hooked up correctly. I've got MIDI being recorded in DP. But I can't figure out how to get it to play back it's own sounds. I want this as a controller as well as it's own synth.
Thanks.

The Keylab is not a synth. Just a controller.
If you have installed and authorized Analog Lab on your computer, you can use it just as you would any other Virtual Instrument, either standalone, or as a plugin.
The Keylab is class compliant, so there is no driver, but you will want to make sure it appears in AudioMIDI Setup. With that done, it will show up in any application that supports CoreMIDI as a MIDI device.

Ah! That's where my thinking went wrong. I forgot to just look for it in the add instrument window. I'm not near my studio now, but I'm assuming it'll just show up like any other plugin.
Thanks. Went a little brain dead, but I'm better now.

I know the problem. I have pictures all over the place to remind me what I'm supposed to be doing.NealF wrote:Went a little brain dead, but I'm better now.
