Selection Troubles?

Does anyone else have occasional issues making selections in the Tracks Overview or Sequence Editor Windows? When I make a selection to split soundbite, merge audio, bounce, etc., the highlighted section disappears. After several attempts and a lot of cursing I can make my selection, but it sure is a pain in the a$$ when trying to make deadlines.

I've struggled with glitchy selection in the MIDI Graphic Editor for years (since v5). For me it worked SO well in some older version, and when they changed the way selection worked, I was so bummed out. I've complained about it on this forum to see if others have noticed it and are bothered by it, but I'm apparently alone on it.

I don't know if the issues you are noticing are related or not.

I haven't had issues in the MIDI editor, but that may just be coincidence as I tend to spend most of my time working with audio.

Also, I've never experienced this in previous DP versions, this is a first for me.
