Live Room G problem? Mavericks

Post by lightb4sound »

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all well. I have just purchased a new Macbook Pro 13" (of course installed with Mavericks), to work as a remote workstation when away from the studio. I have just been doing some work with LiveRoom (my favourite plug!) and noticed that it is not updating when you change a cabinet (for example). Has anyone else experienced this problem? The only way to change it appears is if you change presets.

This is really worrying for me.

Thanks

Neil

This is a guess, but could you have some bus conflicts? When changing over to the new computer, did you by any chance get some old busses mixed with new? Sometimes when bringing in old files that I haven't worked with in years (the equivalent of opening files on a different computer), the plugins act erratic until I get everything sorted out. Ins and Outs, busses, device names, and so forth all have to be consistent.

One way to check it out is to try it on a new file. See if it works there. If so, then you probably just need to go over all your I/O and see that it is consistent with the existing busses, auxes, and VIs.

Or it could be totally a Mavericks thing. I'm just saying that I get strange plugin behavior at times when changing a file to another computer running a different version of DP.

Thanks so much for your help guys!

I should have mentioned that this was on a totally new project with just live room. Looks like it is a Mavericks Issue. Sad thing about buying a new apple is that i can't go backwards! (Or upgrade it any more!)

Ho hum! Hopefully it will get addressed at some point, because Live Room G is awesome!

Thanks again
