The Logitech k750 is a wireless, solar powered keyboard and no, you don't need the Sun to power it - just room light. Comes in a few colors but black is beautiful.
It feels fantastic with slightly indented keys that conform to our delicate little fingers nicely. It is QUIET and extremely responsive! YES! The function keys are kind of oddly wired to a laptop setup where you have to hit the fn key to get function keys, but that is easy overcome with the Logic pref panel if you don't mind it. I do mind it as it takes over my Logitech MX Revolution mouse and my Steermouse program won't function, so I don't use the Logitech software, but this has turned out to be a very good thing as I now have more options with my Quickeys assignments than before, mainly owing to my inefficient use of the shortcuts. Another story... and BTW, the MX Revolution is not compatible with the "unified" rf receiver. No big deal, IMO.
But wait, there's more, I also snagged a nifty Brother P-Touch label maker (and at half price at Office Depot on special) that plugs into the Mac and can use any font on the system. That in combination with 1/4" black labels has transformed my studio keyboard into a great custom keyboard (see below).
Just thought I'd share with you kids...
