Micro Express MIDI Interface Problems

Bought a brand new Micro Express MIDI Interface. All sorts of problems with stuck notes, random program changes, and more.

Using it with DP 7.24. Have the latest MOTU MIDI driver: 1.6.49190.

Tried it on older MB Pro (with USB 2 connectors), OS 10.6.x .... all sorts of problems.
Tried it on newer MB Pro (with USB 3 connectors), OS 10.8.5 .... same problems.

Tried it with both MB Pro's with a USB hub in between computer and interface ... same problems.

Anybody else having problems with Micro Express, DP 7, USB 2 or USB 3 connectors, on either OS 10.6 or OS 10.8?

Hopefully I'm not alone in my MIDI nightmare ...

You don't have you system listed so I can't comment on that aspect. One thing I would be sure to do is repair permissions. MOTU devices often end up needing some maintenance from Disk Utility.

When I updated audio drivers in ML (DP8) there were a ton of permissions repaired and that stopped a lot of audio problems. Whether or not that will help stuck notes is unknown. You might also search this forum for the term "stuck notes" and "hanging notes" to see how others resolved (or couldn't resolve) their problems.
