8.05 bug report #1 Revert from full screen

Says it all. If I am in full screen mode and Revert to Saved, the resulting window looks like this:



A tiny little screen in the upper left corner. Ex-panding the screen then looks like this:



Window sets work to fix it, but any subsequently opened project opens to the tiny screen.

Relaunching DP seems to fix it. Expect an 8.06 soon... no?

Confirmed by MOTU. DP 8.05 can't be far off. This is a pretty big one IMO.

Basically the problem arises when you CLOSE a Project in full Screen Mode. The only way out is to exit full screen out before closing the project. If not, you're forced to quit DP in order to work correctly again. Pretty annoying. Please MOTU take care of it. We love DP.

I don't use full screen mode, but I'm glad you found it. Full screen mode doesn't work well with Spaces (Control Panel won't float), but I'm guessing that a lot of people who don't use Spaces are using full-screen mode. It maximizes your spatial efficiency on the one screen. Can't have that being flaky.

I hope they'll fix it fast.

Is full screen mode when you hit the green button in the upper left corner or some other function? I do this with the consolidated window and a separate Mixer window. Thanks.

It's the arrows in the upper right corner and i think you can only get there using the consolidated window.

I don't really use full screen mode, good thing you found it, though. The full screen mode increases efficiency of your local. I guess a lot of people who use the space, but when I'm using. The space doesn't work well in full screen mode

DP was forced to leave in order for it to work correctly, it's annoying, I know, but it's not enough either. Quite annoying. From now on, just before the close of the project it's derived from full screen. If you have a project close full screen mode, this is exactly why it's a problem which often occurs.
