Hello forum,

OK, in my sig you can see the Mac I'm using. This is my test machine and if it performs well on the iMac, it'll be even better on the MacPro.
Installed OS X 10.9 and below are the apps I'm using on this iMac:

DP 8.05 = Checks
QuickTime Pro 7.6.6 = Checks
DSP-Quattro 4.2.2 = Checks
Bidule 0.9733 = Checks
SampleTank = Checks
Miroslav Philharmonik = Checks
SampleTron = Checks
SonikSynth = Checks The VIs in blue, are loaded into Bidule
Independece Pro = Checks
GPO, GIO and all other Garritan libs = Checks

For system maintenance:
iDefrag 2.4.4 = Checks
TinkerTool System 3.2 = NO... I guess I can use OnyX

TinkerTool System has been updated to 3.3. So, this checks also.

Microsoft Office 2008 is also still working

10.9 seems a bit faster also compared to 10.8.5. As I said, the iMac is 4 years old and only 8 GIGS of ram, but for testing purpose, it's ok.

Logic Pro 9.1.8 works in both 32bit and 64bit. In 32bit, Logic runs some plugs that DP 7.24 will not run such as Ozone 5.04 and Alloy 2.02 (see Izotope's tech notes on this).

So far for me, 10.9 has broken Audio Ease Snapper(v.2), and Standalone Versions of EWQL Symphonic Orch(ver.4.0.23) & BFD3. Both EWQL & BFD3 work fine when loaded as VIs inside DP8.

Snapper is broken and has an update but you can't update from 10.9. I'll try from 10.8 and see if that works in 10.9.

No dice. Snappier is not only not Snappier in 10.9 but broken. Kaput.

I have a similar experience with EWQL Symphonic orchestra. Works inside DP8.05 or Bidule and does not as standalone.

Can anyone test in 10.9:

*** Wallander wind/brass AU inside DP 8.05
*** NI Kontakt 5.3.0 Standalone and AU inside DP 8.05

Some users report Kontakt crashing in Mavericks but they do not specify if it is a fresh version 5.3.0 and if it concerns standalone, AU or both. So far no news about Wallander...
