Not even on the MOTU.com front page yet! Anyone know what's new in this? Plus there's a ton of library updates to downlaod (16GB+!). Do I have to download them? Are the old libraries not compatible with 3.2?

Updated UFS soundbank libraries
MachFive 3’s included soundbank libraries have been updated to provide better scripting and smaller, more efficient file sizes. They are backward compatible with your existing projects. In addition, these updated UFS files are now available for download from motu.com/download. You can use any standard web browser or FTP client to download them, but plan accordingly because they are quite large: between 1GB and 8GB. For faster downloading, each UFS
file has been individually compressed using the standard .rar (RAR) compression format. There are many free, downloadable utilities that can be used to extract them.

If you experience issues with incomplete downloads, try downloading each .rar archive one at a time. For further information, visit motu.com/download.

AAX plug-in support: MachFive 3.2.0 now supports Avid’s new AAX plug-in format for Pro Tools 11 and above. MachFive 3.2.0 includes legacy RTAS support for earlier versions of Pro Tools.

WahWah Filter
The new WahWah Filter emulates the sound of a classic wah wah pedal. Right-click any of the parameters, including amount (Wah), Drive, Model and Master to modulate them or assign remote control (via MIDI or OSC).

Verify Soundbank Integrity
Right-click any UFS file in MachFive 3’s browser and choose Verify soundbank integrity
to confirm that the UFS file is fully complete and operational. If not, try downloading and
extracting it again.

I'm still using Stuffit Expander to expand .rar files. v.15 is working just fine for me.

I can't update now, but if someone does, could you check if MOTU has corrected the problem where the same sample gets loaded into RAM more than once?

For instance, if you load the Telematic program in 4 different parts, it should only take the RAM necessary for ONE instance, and then simply fire the samples on demand for the other parts (they already loaded once), instead of loading the same Telematic program x4 and wasting precious RAM... That means 4 GBs only instead of 20+ GBs for the same thing!

The Download page says:

To further verify that the UFS file downloaded and extracted properly, you can right-click the UFS in MachFive 3's browser and choose "Verify soundbank integrity" to confirm that the .rar download and UFS extraction worked properly.
When using the "Verify soundbank integrity" feature, the UFS soundbank must be mounted in MachFive 3's browser. To mount the UFS file, double-click it (so that it appears in the "Soundbanks" list with the Eject icon to its right). Verification may take a few moments, depending on the UFS file size.

, but I get nada if right click on the UFSs. Is this working for anyone else?

Still d/l'ing and also installing Mavericks so I'll be busy for a while before I can check on some of this stuff.

Answering my own post. DL of all the banks and install was easy and seems to be running just fine. The Verify Soundbank Integrity function is there on the plugin version only, not the standalone.

I couldn't make the right-click work but all of the new libraries loaded info MachFive3.2 as did UVI's Mello.

UVI's X-TremeFX crashed 3.2 however, every time. I noticed that the create date is August 31, 2006. Too busy to see if the downloads on the UVI site are later so I will download there before I submit a Tech Link or post the crash report.

No issues here with X-TremeFX. I'm seeing that same Creation Date btw. The right-click verify only works on the new libraries.

I downloaded the X-TremeFX sound bank from the UVI web site and it solved my problem. The creation date on this version is April 26, 2013 so they updated something. Anyway, all is good now.

Working fine in DP 7.24 ! Faster, more responsive (first impressions), and will download the new library later.

Just in time to save by ...s!

I have a project due, and I ran into unexplicable DP 7.24 weirdness yesterday.

Tried all the usual stuff, and along the way, I had to download the new "iLok License" application, and I totally deactivated a plug-in that I think was giving me problems.

Still had weirdness, until I bit the bullet and upgraded MachFive to see what would happen.

The new MachFive 3.2 installed and got recognized without a hitch.

Breathing easier today!
