Sorry if this has been covered, but since I upgraded to 8.05 I've had to remove the Wah plug-in, which I'm pretty sure comes with DP, because it kept crashing DP. Anybody have this problem? I'm running in 32 bit btw

I just started D..P. in 32 bits and have not this problem: the Wah-wah plug-in wah-wah is easily accessible .

Yes it's not the Wah plug. Now it's doing it anyway. Not sure what the problem is

guitardood found an incompatibility between Izotope RX 3 Denoiser AU and DP 8.05.

I discovered that it was all of RX 3.
http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... =1&t=55853

RX 2 still works fine, though.

Enough of an issue for me that I will downgrade to DP 8.04 or RX 2 till it is fixed. I just don't know which.

Hi..
One only observation... One option is still missing in this version of software.....
The function "COMPARE" when you change the values of the plug-ins does not work with the UAD plug-ins, does not work with plug-ins "DUENDE NATIVE" and does not work with plug-ins "WAVES". Only works with the format MAS.
It would be great to put at the disposal of DP8 this command as it is made available in Logic9 or in Cubase. Being DP a software much nicer and professional, this function should not remain only for the other softwares mentioned...

Ok I was wrong again!! It was Wah and I had to remove the Wah bundle as well. Then it stopped crashing on startup. Wah was also the first things mentioned in the crash report. What the heck??

DP 8.05's Paste At Wiper.
When Time Format is Measures, Paste At Wiper does not paste anything exactly at wiper, it pastes event exactly at the same place it was in original measure but in the new bar that has Wiper inside itself.

That makes sense when you think about it. Let's say you copied the third and fourth beat of a measure and wanted to paste in in another measure. If you're wiper placement is anywhere in the new measure it paste's things correctly. If you want to paste exactly at the wiper position for some reason, then just change time formats.

This explains some of the problems people have been having with this feature. Good catch!

This is a mighty great observation Drumwizard (your very first post at the MN!! Welcome! :) )

Changing to anything but "measures" fixed the issue for me on my laptop PC (have to try on the Mac later in the studio) !!!
Until then: :woohoo:

Not having any trouble with the Wah in 8.05 here. Have you tried setting DP's
Open Preferences to "none", and then launching the project with the Wah enabled?

If all else fails you could try repairing permissions, deleting DP's preferences, then re-installing DP 8.05.

There must be a field that contains that location that's not getting ignored. I'm referring to Drumwizard's discovery that those who are having trouble are getting the data pasted at the original bar's beat, but in the wiper's measure.

That's not happening here. Anywhere I put the wiper, the data goes right to it.

I wonder… if you hit Command-D before you paste to wiper, will that fix it? But that's how we ALWAYS pasted to wiper. This new feature allows you to paste to wiper without canceling your selection.

So… what's causing the discrepancy? Can anyone confer that it's happening that way, no matter where they put the wiper?

Time Format = Measures?
May I ask you to record your screen?
