Stereo Track Panning?
Stereo audio tracks come with only 1 pan pot. I would like to control the panning of the left side and right side of the stereo track as if they were two mono tracks. The MAS plugs relating to panning are only for surround tracks. How can I gain this kind of control on stereo tracks?

The Trim plug does what you need but it would be great if DP revised it's panning to enable individual control of both level and position of the L and R.
An option for the panning law would also be great. IE: 0 or -3db for centre signals.

If you find the need to change pan law, Sonalksis's Free G has three settings: 0, -3, and -6. I agree, it would be nice to have it built in, but hey.

AFAICR, DP pan law is -4dB.

I'm not sure how pan law is mathematically determined, but a pure sine wave at 1 kHz that produces a 0dB signal on either right or left channel on the stereo bus when panned hard right or left, produces a -2.5 dB signal on each channel when panned dead center. I've measured this using several meter plugins as well as Meter Bridge all with the same results. Does that mean -2.5 pan law, or is some math manipulation required?
