DP's file extension name?
Hello.
I need to know what the extension for DP7.24's files is.
Looking at the file info window it only includes the name of the DP file, but not the extension.
I tried writing a quick Applescript to tell me, but it returns an empty string for the extension property.
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks!

Re: DP's file extension name?
DP8 files use the .dpdoc extension.
DP7 files do not use a file name extension.
DP7 files are identified via Type and Creator data in the file header.
Type: PERF
Creator: MOUP

Showing my age, I guess. That was a Seinfeld episode in which George played Trivial Pursuit with the Bubble Boy, and there was a misprint on the answer card. George won because the kid gave the correct answer, but George said it wasn't what was on the card, so it's wrong. The card said the "Moops."
Ok, that was too much explanation for too little humor. Sorry about that.
