Duplicate tracks shortcut?
Did a session today where the client wanted to stack a bunch of tracks, so he wanted new tracks instead of additional takes. I tried the "Duplicate Tracks" shortcut (control-command-D) with the selected track, but nothing happened. I could click on the command from the Project window and duplicate the selected track, but the shortcut doesn't work. This is in DP 8.04. I also tried it in DP 7.24 with the same result. Is this command being used by OSX 10.8.5, or is it broken?

Re: Duplicate tracks shortcut?
I'm in DP 7.24 on OSX 10.8.5 and it's working fine here. Have you double checked it in the commands window and also checked for duplicates there? Might want to take a look at keyboard shortcuts in system preferences as well.

Re: Duplicate tracks shortcut?
That's the OS X command that looks up text in a dictionary. No doubt you could remove that from OS X, but it would be just easy to set a new keyboard shortcut in DP.

Re: Duplicate tracks shortcut?
One reason I like Quickeys is that I can setup the same command across several different programs from QK and not have to worry about what program I'm in to do what.

Re: Duplicate tracks shortcut?
I've always had this issue too in DP 7.24 (I think in 5.13 as well) Leopard and Snow Leopard. No conflicting key commands in MacOS or DP. Can duplicate from menu selection but not from the keyboard shortcut. I have imported my commands over the years, maybe something got corrupted and has been transferred from an earlier version.
