I have set a network system with a MTP AV and a MTP II. I am working with an Athlon 1500+ PC running Windows XP Professional SP2, and have installed the latest XP driver from the MOTU website (SETUPMIDI_2.51.zip).
The interfaces work in standalone with each other without any problem. Even on the Clockworks console I am able to see all the 16 ports at once, but each time I run my sequencer (Cubase SX 3), I can only route the first 8 MIDI ports, the networked ports (9-16) aren't present there. When I look at the Device Manager I see only the first 8 ports.
Thank you in advance for your help
networked ports MTPAV-MTPII (9-16) don't appear in Win XP

Doublecero:
I have sent you another PM.
MOTU tech support..... finally after 6 calls in 3 days decided to set up 2 networked MIDI timepieces parallel ports to Windows XP and they too cant get ports 9-16 to work. It shows up in Clockworks but when you open Cubase, or any other sequencer it will only show ports 1-8.
Frustrating I had to go through so many tech support guys before I could convince one of them to actually try this out.
Im surpprised no one else has encountered this problem even realizing parallel ports have been replaced by USB.

Re: networked ports MTPAV-MTPII (9-16) don't appear in Win XP
Well I encounter the same problem : 2 MTP AV (parallel, the old goodies ... ) networked , Clockworks detects the 16 ports , but neither Win XP SP2 , nor MIDI OX , nor SONAR detect the 16 ports , they stay with the original set up , i.e. 8 ports
I guess this topic is well known , so the question is simple : is it possible to have the 16 ports ( parallel ) detected by Windows ? Is it a driver issue ?
Does MAC OS does the trick ? which OS ?
