I'm super confused, despite reading the manual (which, beleive me, I will continue to attempt to study).
1. Do you have to have both MTP's installed on a PC, or just connected with a network cable?
2. Can you network in standalone mode?
3. If only one must be installed in a PC to network them, can you use the parallel as the "master"?
I have the proper chips in the box, but windows/clockworks *still* can't see it. I'm working on that in a different thread, but not hopeful. So, I'm asking these other questions here to find a workaround.
I listed *that* issue in a different thread to break things up.

Re: 4 Timepiece AV Networking questions
I have CRS (can't remember ••••) and I'm not very experienced, but I could have 'sworn' I read that the USB has to be the master, and that they can be networked with/without connected to a computer. Someone can prove me wrong
And I now see that you didn't mean 'networking' in your other thread I had replied in.

Re: 4 Timepiece AV Networking questions
I have 4 MTP AV: 3 USB and 1 parallel. I connect them in 2 pairs via net. For the first pair the parallel unit connected to PC notebook and the other side connected via USB to another desktop PC. From each side I can configure all 16 channels.
With second pair I have problem on PC platform, but on MAC G4 (Panther) it works as the 1'st pair does.

Re: 4 Timepiece AV Networking questions
Just checked settings once more. There was a mistake. Now 2 pairs are seen in two windows of ClockWorks with 16 channels in each.
