I have a FastLane USB hooked up to a Windows 7 machine using DP 8. The machine is extremely fast with a 18 Gb RAM. But when I route the FastLane through DP and into an outboard MIDI device, there is a delay of about 1 second before I hear what I played. I also have a Traveler via FireWire and using it's MIDI port works fine - very fast. What could be going on with the FastLane? Is it a driver issue, slow or wrong version USB port, outdated hardware, or something else?
