I've found some reports but no solutions so far.
Win7-64 and XP sp3 both have the same issue for me:
Clockworks and the MTP will not see each other. The device managers on both machines see the MTP. It shows up in both Reaper and Pro Tools 9, but won't do anything.
No PC activity light, nothing.
It works fine on my creaky and ancient PPC Mac.
(It's just about the only thing that does).
I'm failing to locate a solution via my own searches.

I'm using an MTP AV on my Win XP servicebpack 2 quad machine. I've had the same issues. Somehow floundering around I've cured it. Honestly I forgot what did the trick before.
Just a few days ago I turned on my DAW...after a while of working, it was the same problem again. I only tried for a few minutes & gave up because I had a song idea in my head I wanted to get down before I forgot that. This weekend hopefully I'll have time to check it out. If so I'll try to report back my solution.
