Motu 828mkII/Tiger/Logic 6- Strange High Pitch Noise

I've been having tons of problems lately. First in OS 10.3.9 my firewire ports were not communicating with my Motu, so I found new firewire card with 3 new ports for 38$. I tired that and it worked. But then it wouldn't work in OS 9. I had one of my hard drives partitioned with both OS 9 and X. So I was very confused. I got so frustrated I went to buy Tiger to see what would happen if I did a clean install. So then Logic, quicktime, and itunes, all worked and my other firewire ports worked too!! But then I installed some more programs and updgraded and who knows what happened!! But all of a sudden it seemed like out of the Motu 828mkII from Logic 6.3.3, Quicktime, and Bias Peak...when I open I file and play it in any of those with the Motu hooked up, all I get is this horrible high pitch noise!!! I unplug the Motu and go out of my G4 built in speaker and it works!! What is happening! It takes forever for the Motu people to email me back and there tech support line is a busy signal forever!!

No I'm thinkin, reinstall Panther OS 10.3 on a separte drive and go from there. I got some new software thats die to work with Logic.

Oh and the Apple Logic tech support can't help me because I have the 6.3.3 version and not 7. If I get 7 will it change things? Is it the Motu? Is it some kind of upgrade problem? Is it Tiger? I tell you we should get paid for this work. Please, an advice would be great------

And yes I intalled the new drivers for the Motu. But its say sometimes that I have MIDI synch problems. And then in Garage Band it says, it would like to see Emagic Usb drive 1.5 instead of what I have - 1.4 . I got it from someone but havn't tried to install it yet. hmmm....And sometimes I'll hook up my motu to my PC and it works and then go back to the Mac. By the way when its hooked up to the Mac, I have gotten itunes to work out of the motu and quicktime when opening certain video/audio files from the apple website. Its strange.
