Hi guys, I have searched the forum and can't quite find the same issue dealt with here:
For a few days now, audio has been periodically "blacking out" for less than a couple of seconds every now and then (say every 4 minutes or so).
Now, with increasing frequency, DP just "fizzles" at some point during the session. I usually solve this by rebooting DP or restarting my Mac.
I am working with DP7.24 on a 2009 2.66 ghz quad core intel, running OS 10.6.8.
My audio interface is a Metric Halo 2882.
Could firewire cables possibly be an issue? Will try switching them.
Of course this starts happening just when two clients are about to show up in my studio this weekend to go over some film cues.... ay!
Any advice would be hugely appreciated!
Many thanks
gspin

Re: HELP!: Troubling DP 7.24 Audio Issue
Is the audio device bus powered? Can it be self powered? Also, is your hard drive in good shape according to Disk Utility and is there lots of space on it?
