Is there a way yet to lock the vertical position of MIDI edit windows so that dragging to select a specific range of notes in an arrangement would be easier?

Do you mean the MIDI tracks in the SE window?
If so, then I'm with you.
I wish DP could at least automatically scroll to show the range where notes occur in each tracks, so we don't have to scroll each track to see them.

I'm not sure I understand the question. What kind of problem are you having in selecting a specific range of notes in a region? Is the window scrolling when you get to the edge? That's the only thing I can decipher from the question. If so, then I'd zoom out beyond the area desired and select the range I wanted. Or is it something else you;re asking?
