Do you mean the 32-bit bridge? The one everybody likes is called J-Bridge.

Plogue Bidule does 32 bit AUs. Jbridge is VST only.

Re: What was the name of the 64bit emulator for 8?
No, but it doesn´t need to, as DP also has been gifted with the ability to accept VST besides MAS and AU.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:But does it bridge AUs?
Most Plugins are AU and VST (At least all those hundreds I have installed on my system).
So the thing is there is really no existing problem at all to install any Mac plugin of any brand.

Re: What was the name of the 64bit emulator for 8?
But if you have a 32 bit AU and are running DP in 64 bit and the plug doesn't have a 64 bit or VST version, jbridge is not going to allow you to use that AU plug in 64 bit. I believe that is the question... and Plogue Bidule is the answer.
It's not just because I don't like bridge. I bought it (and frankly, don't like it as much as PB) but the fact that jb doesn't bridge AUs.
Spin it any way you want, but that is what the o/p is looking for. A bridge for a 32 bit AU to get it working in 64 bit DP. PB is the only way to do that. Fact.
